Achievements of Our Students
Since the establishment of the department, we have had a student scientific circle of a research nature. From 2008 to 2013, it was led by Associate Professor of the department, Tatyana Vitalievna Dzhan, later – by the assistant of the department, Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences Lyubov Nikolaevna Rybak, and Associate Professor of the department, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences Andrey Viktorovich Hudzhenko. Since September 1, 2016, the circle has been headed by the assistant of the department Irina Alexandrovna Hurtovenko.
Students work with interest in the scientific circle, presenting every year at scientific-practical conferences for students and young scientists, where they regularly bring home awards for the best scientific work and the best scientific report.
The department also holds annual student scientific conferences based on the results of the circle’s work, where students present the main results of their scientific activities. The abstracts of the conference reports are included in the general collection of materials from the student scientific conferences of KMU.

Member of the student scientific circle of the department, third-year student Alonge Halimat Shadiat, participated in the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works (in English) in the specialty “Pharmacology, Pharmacy” with a report on the topic: “Phytochemical study on Dioscorea rotundata Poir. and Colocasia esculenta (L.) Schott”, which took place on April 4, 2019, at the National Medical University named after A.A. Bogomolets. The work was carried out under the guidance of Associate Professor of the department, Candidate of Biological Sciences M.S. Kalysta.
In a challenging but friendly and warm atmosphere of scientific competition with representatives from the National Pharmaceutical University (Kharkiv), the National Medical University named after A.A. Bogomolets (Kyiv), Zaporizhzhia State Medical University, and Ternopil State Medical University named after I.Ya. Horbachevsky, Alonge Halimat Shadiat became one of the winners of the student scientific work competition and won 2nd place and a Diploma of the II degree.
Members of the student scientific circle of the department, fourth-year students Yashchuk Bohdana and Mykhailovska Alena, participated in the XXII International Medical Congress of Young Scientists and Students, held on April 23-25, 2018, in Ternopil at the Ternopil State Medical University named after I.Ya. Horbachevsky.
According to the results of the Congress, Yashchuk Bohdana took first place and together with her supervisor – assistant of the department Irina Alexandrovna Hurtovenko – received a Diploma of the first degree.
Members of the student scientific circle of the department, fourth-year students Atyaksheva Nadezhda and Romanyuk Antonina, participated in the XXI International Medical Congress of Young Scientists and Students, held on April 24-26, 2017, in Ternopil at the Ternopil State Medical University named after I.Ya. Horbachevsky.
According to the results of the Congress, Atyaksheva Nadezhda took first place and together with her supervisor – assistant of the department Irina Alexandrovna Hurtovenko – received a Diploma of the first degree.
Members of the student scientific circle of the department, third-year students Mykhailovska Alena and Yashchuk Bohdana, participated in the IV International Medical and Pharmaceutical Congress of Students and Young Scientists “Innovations and Prospects of Modern Medicine” (Bukovinian International Medical Congress, BIMCO 2017), held on April 5-7, 2017, in Chernivtsi at the Bukovinian State Medical University.

Members of the student scientific circle of the department, fourth-year students Movchanyuk Irina and Markovska Darina, participated in the XX International Medical Congress of Students and Young Scientists in Ternopil, held at the Ternopil State Medical University on April 25-27 2016.

Members of the student scientific circle of the department, third-year students Atyaksheva Nadezhda and Romanyuk Antonina, participated in the III International Medical and Pharmaceutical Congress of Students and Young Scientists “Priorities and Prospects of Youth Science” (Bukovinian International Medical Congress, BIMCO 2016), held on April 6-8, 2016, in Chernivtsi at the Bukovinian State Medical University.
According to the results of the congress, Romanyuk Antonina received a Diploma “For Best Presentation”, and Atyaksheva Nadezhda – a Diploma “For Active Participation in Scientific Discussion”.

Members of the student scientific circle of the department, third-year students Bubnova Olga, Kuchai Olga, and Fedun Valentina, participated in the XVII International Medical Congress of Students and Young Scientists, held at the Ternopil State Medical University, Ternopil, on April 22-24 2013.
According to the results of the conference, Bubnova Olga received a Diploma of the II degree for scientific report.
Members of the student scientific circle of the department, fourth-year students Vlasenko Maria, Bodnya Olga, Vlasenko Alexandra, and Bolila Inna, participated in the X International Medical and Pharmaceutical Conference of Students and Young Scientists in Chernivtsi, held at the Bukovinian State Medical University on March 27-28, 2013.
According to the results of the conference, Vlasenko Maria received a Diploma of the II degree, and Bodnya Olga – a Diploma of the III degree as winners of the “Pharmacy” section.

Members of the student scientific circle of the department, fifth-year students Burchak Tatyana, Romanova Alexandra, Rushak Irina, and Chumachenko Alla, participated in the IX International Medical and Pharmaceutical Conference of Students and Young Scientists in Chernivtsi, held at the Bukovinian State Medical University on April 4-6, 2012.
According to the results of the conference, Burchak Tatyana received a Diploma of the III degree as winner of the “Pharmacy” section, and Romanova Alexandra and Rushak Irina – certificates for active participation in scientific discussion.

Members of the student scientific circle of the department, fifth-year students Kirichenko Anna, Strashnyuk Tatyana, Dovga Irina, and Televyak Svitlana, participated in the 72nd university-wide student scientific conference “Achievements of Modern Medicine”, which took place at the Lviv National Medical University on April 28-29, 2011.
According to the results of the conference, Kirichenko Anna received 1st place for the best scientific work, and Televyak Svitlana – 1st place for the best presentation.
