Coriander (cilantro)

CORIANDER (= CILANTRO), leavesCoriander (= cilantro) is notable for its vitamin K (phylloquinone) content (258.3% of the daily requirement in 100 g), beta-carotene (78.6%), vitamin C (ascorbic acid) (38.6%), alpha-tocopherol (16.7%), folic acid (15.5%), lutein and its isomer zeaxanthin (14.4%), pantothenic acid (11.4%).

The most abundant minerals are silicon (280.7%), rubidium (58.4%), vanadium (24.8%), copper (23.0%), iron (22.3%), manganese (21.5%), potassium (20.8%), boron (14.4%), and magnesium (10.1%).
Coriander contains phytosterols (9.1% of the daily norm in 100 g), predominantly beta-sitosterol (5.0%).
Galactose predominates in the monosaccharides of coriander (14.3% of the daily requirement per 100 g), while pectin (34.0%) and fiber (11.2%) dominate among other carbohydrates. Coriander contains small amounts of starch (0.5 g) and sucrose (0.18 g).
The total purine base content in 100 g is 4.3% of the daily requirement.
